How to install Reviewifyd on Shopify
A step-by-step guide to adding Reviewifyd to your Shopify store in under 5 minutes — no coding required.
1Before you begin
Make sure you are logged in to your Shopify admin as the store owner or with a staff account that has app-installation permissions.
2Step-by-step installation
Follow these steps to install the app from the Shopify App Store:
- 1Open the Shopify App Store and search for 'Reviewifyd', or use the direct link provided in your welcome email.
- 2Click 'Add app' on the Reviewifyd listing page.
- 3Review the permissions Reviewifyd needs and click 'Install app' to confirm.
- 4You will be redirected to the Reviewifyd onboarding wizard inside your Shopify admin.
- 5Follow the wizard: choose your default widget style, set your review request timing, and click 'Finish setup'.
The onboarding wizard saves your choices automatically. You can change any setting later in the Reviewifyd dashboard.
3Enabling the app embed
After installation, Reviewifyd needs to be enabled as an App Embed in your Shopify theme so widgets appear on your storefront.
- 1In your Shopify admin go to Online Store → Themes.
- 2Click 'Customize' on your active theme.
- 3In the Theme Editor sidebar, click 'App Embeds' (the puzzle-piece icon).
- 4Toggle on 'Reviewifyd — Review Widgets' and click 'Save'.
If you skip this step, review widgets will not appear on product pages even though the app is installed.
4Verifying the installation
Visit any product page on your storefront. You should see a Reviewifyd reviews section below the product description. If it does not appear, check the App Embeds step above or contact support.
