When you create an account, install the Reviewifyd app, or contact our support team, we collect information such as your name, email address, Shopify store URL, and billing details.
When you use our service, we automatically collect certain technical data including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and actions taken within the app dashboard.
As part of our service, we process review data submitted by your end customers (shoppers), including their names, email addresses, star ratings, written reviews, and any photos or videos they upload. This data is processed on your behalf as a data processor.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you uninstall the Reviewifyd app, we will delete or anonymise your store's data within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain it for a longer period.
Review data (ratings, text, photos, and videos) submitted by your customers is retained as long as you maintain an active account. You may delete individual reviews or request a full data export at any time from the app dashboard.

Reviewifyd is committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area (EEA). We act as a data processor for the personal data of your end customers, and you (the merchant) are the data controller.
When we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include SSL/TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, access controls, and regular security audits.
