1How automated emails work

After a customer's order is fulfilled (shipped), Reviewifyd waits for the delay period you set, then sends a branded email asking for a review. The customer clicks a star rating in the email and is taken to a pre-filled review form.

2Enabling the feature

To turn on automated review requests:

  1. 1Go to Reviewifyd dashboard → Settings → Email Requests.
  2. 2Toggle 'Automated review requests' to ON.
  3. 3Set your send delay (default: 7 days after fulfillment).
  4. 4Click 'Save changes'.
⚠️

Emails are sent from Shopify's transactional email infrastructure. Make sure your store's sender email is verified in Shopify admin → Settings → Notifications.

3Choosing the right send delay

The ideal delay depends on your shipping times. A good rule of thumb:

  1. 1Standard shipping (5–10 days): set delay to 12–14 days.
  2. 2Express shipping (1–3 days): set delay to 5–7 days.
  3. 3Digital products: set delay to 1–2 days.
💡

Emails sent too early (before the product arrives) get ignored. Emails sent too late lose momentum. Optimize your delay after the first 30 days by checking your open rate in the Email Stats section.

4Verifying emails are sending

After enabling, go to Email → Activity Log. Every sent email appears here with its status: Sent, Opened, Clicked, or Review Submitted. If emails show 'Failed', verify your sender email in Shopify admin.
