Customizing your email template

Edit the layout, copy, and design of your review request email so it feels like a natural extension of your brand.

1Opening the email editor

In your Reviewifyd dashboard go to Settings → Email → Template Editor. A live preview pane shows the email as it will appear in the recipient's inbox.

2Editable email elements

You can customize the following fields:

  1. 1Subject line — keep it under 60 characters. Try personalizing with the customer's first name using the {{first_name}} variable.
  2. 2Preview text — the snippet shown in the inbox before the email is opened.
  3. 3Header image — upload your logo or a product banner (recommended: 600px wide, PNG or JPG).
  4. 4Body copy — use the rich text editor to change the message. Available variables: {{first_name}}, {{product_name}}, {{order_number}}, {{store_name}}.
  5. 5Star rating block — the interactive star row customers click to start their review. You can change the prompt text above it.
  6. 6CTA button — change the button label and color.
  7. 7Footer text — add your store address, unsubscribe notice, and social links here.

3Sending a test email

Click 'Send test email' to receive a preview at your logged-in email address. Check it on both desktop and mobile before activating.

💡

Test in multiple email clients if possible. Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail render HTML emails differently.

4Saving the template

Click 'Save template'. The new design applies to all review request emails sent from this point forward. Previously sent emails are not affected.
