Adding photo & video review galleries
Display customer-submitted photos and videos in a gallery above or within your review widget to increase conversion.
1Plan requirements
Photo and video reviews require the Professional plan. Free plan supports text-only reviews.
2Enabling the media gallery
Go to Widgets → Product Page → Edit → Media Gallery tab. Toggle 'Show media gallery' to ON. The gallery strip appears above the review list, showing thumbnails of all customer photos and videos.
3Configuring gallery options
Customize how media is displayed:
- 1Gallery style: horizontal strip (default) or masonry grid.
- 2Thumbnail size: small (80px), medium (120px), or large (160px).
- 3Videos: choose to show video thumbnails with a play button overlay.
- 4Lightbox: when enabled, clicking a thumbnail opens a full-screen viewer.
- 5Review association: clicking a photo scrolls down to the matching written review.
The horizontal strip works best on product pages. Use the masonry grid for a dedicated testimonials page.
4Accepting photo/video reviews from customers
In Settings → Review Form, enable 'Allow photo uploads' and 'Allow video uploads'. Customers can then attach up to 5 photos (max 10 MB each) or 1 video (max 50 MB) when submitting a review.
Review media is stored on Reviewifyd's CDN. Ensure your privacy policy mentions that customer-submitted photos may be displayed publicly.
